Join Slow Food Denver for a day at Isabelle Farm
Don't miss the chance to get to know your local farmers and ranchers by joining Slow Food Denver's 2012 Farm Tour Series! For this final tour of the season, we will visit Isabelle Farm. We will meet at the farm at 10am on Sunday September 23 for a tour, followed by a seasonal lunch prepared using products from the farm.
We hope to see you on a lovely Sunday morning for an educational day and to enjoy the very best in local food. Please arrange your own transportation to the farm (carpooling encouraged), and plan to arrive on time - we will not be able to hold the tour for late arrivals.

About Isabelle Farm:
Isabelle Farm is a family-run, certified organic farm growing more than 100 varieties of produce on 80-plus acres in Boulder County since 2005. Owners Jason and Natalie Condon's growing practices are founded upon the idea that they love the land they live on and view this as their opportunity to leave a little corner of the world as healthy and biodiverse as possible. They offer a farm stand, CSA program and also partner with local restaurants and producers who share their vision to custom grow specific crops.
A few things to consider:
- In our efforts to reduce waste, Slow Food Denver asks that everyone bring their own 'picnic kit' to include plates, bowls, utensils, napkins and cups. We will have back ups for those who forget or aren't able to do this.
- We will be walking through the fields so sturdy walking shoes are important! Also remember to bring sunscreen/hat, insect repellent, a warm layer, a camera, water bottles and rain gear (just in case)
- In the event of inclement weather, please check your email Friday evening. We will send a note if we need to postpone the trip.
